Venezuela and India evaluate reactivation of joint ventures

The Minister of People's Power for Petroleum, Rafael Tellechea, held a meeting this Wednesday, March 6, with the Indian ambassador to Venezuela, Ashok Babu, with the objective of evaluating the reactivation of joint ventures in the country between Petroleos de Venezuela (PDVSA) and the Petroleum and Natural Gas Corporation of India (ONGC), for the development of both nations.

Through its account on the social network X, Tellechea said that actions were also addressed to strengthen cooperation in the academic and technological areas.

In the message, he noted that “today we held a productive meeting with the ambassador of the Republic of India in our country, H.E. Ashok Babu. We reviewed the plans for the reactivation of Joint Ventures between PDVSA and ONGC and evaluated new opportunities for academic and technological cooperation.”
