Within the framework of the International Tourism Fair (FITVEN) Táchira, an agreement was signed between the companies Meilin Tours C.A. (Venezuela) and Loyal Med Tours (India), with the purpose of opening a path of opportunities and consolidating friendship between both nations.

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, the governor of the state of Táchira, Freddy Bernal, accompanied by the president of the Tachirense company Meilin Tours, and Nain Singh, Yadrina Chacón, met with the executive director of Loyal Med to establish business relations with that company.

“The signing of this agreement is the first step in opening the doors of India's tourist relationship with Venezuela, through the state of Táchira, so that they come and see our natural beauty, its idiosyncrasy, the gastronomy and the value of our people, and for those who want, from Venezuela, to travel to India, a great path opens up,” he said.

Bernal highlighted that India is a country with more than 1.5 billion and 20 million inhabitants, which translates into potential tourists for the Andean state.

He also stressed that this exchange creates new routes and markets, turned “Venezuela into a new destination for India and we will have a new embassy, a new place to arrive, which is Táchira”.

He pointed out that FITVEN-Táchira 2024 made it possible to establish friendly and economic relations, and reaffirms to the people of Tachira the economic and tourist capacities they can have. “I am happy because the success of FITVEN opens up an unlimited range of possibilities and thanks to this the whole world knows that there is a beautiful state called Táchira,” he said.
