Venezuela and Japan explore an agenda of constructive work and shared benefit

The meeting allowed the parties to exchange views on the political situation in each country

This Thursday, May 07, the Deputy Minister for Asia, the Middle East and Oceania of the Ministry of People's Power for Foreign Affairs (MPPRE), Andrea Corao, received Masato Matsumoto, in the spaces of the historic Yellow House “Antonio José de Sucre”, in Caracas.

The meeting allowed the parties to exchange views on the political situation of each country, as well as its political-territorial organization, a topic of great importance for rapprochement between nations.

Deputy Minister Corao extended a cordial welcome to the Japanese municipal authority, stressing Venezuela's willingness to maintain open communication channels that allow the exploration of a constructive work agenda with shared benefit.

For his part, Councilman Matsumoto thanked the warm reception, recalling the traditional friendship between the two Peoples.

The official noted his interest in getting to know the “El Sistema” Foundation and highlighted the possibilities of exploring an approach to cultural and sports issues, without neglecting business.

As an act of genuine sincerity and great charisma, the Japanese councilman congratulated Venezuela's victory in the World Baseball Classic, which was received with great pleasure by the diplomatic authorities.
