Venezuela and Madagascar strengthen cooperation relations

The Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Yván Gil, maintained a telephone contact with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Madagascar, Rasata Rafaravavitafika, in order to strengthen bilateral relations and strengthen ties of cooperation between the two peoples.

“We reaffirm Venezuela's commitment to continue strengthening our political, economic and cultural alliances with the countries of the African continent, promoting exchange and collaboration for mutual benefit,” said the Venezuelan foreign minister, through his Telegram channel.

Venezuela and Madagascar, which established diplomatic relations on November 17, 2008, are interested in commercial exchange in the areas of tourism, agriculture, medicine and education, among others.

The relationship between Venezuela and Madagascar develops in a context of mutual interest in bilateral cooperation and the strengthening of international relations, despite the geographical distance.
