Venezuela and Malaysia evaluate strategies for joint development and defend the Palestinian cause

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Asia, the Middle East and Oceania, Tatiana Pugh, met with the Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of Malaysia in Venezuela, Shalihin Annuar, to strengthen ties of cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, held at the headquarters of the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry, both diplomats reviewed the highlights of binational cooperation and evaluated strategies for its promotion.
The ratification of the commitment of Venezuela and Malaysia to the defense of the Palestinian cause and the condemnation of the genocide perpetrated by Israel was one of the central points of the conversation.
Diplomatic relations between the two countries were established on December 18, 1986, and since then they have deepened with the signing of 19 agreements.
