In an effort to promote investment, training and tourism promotion, the Venezuelan Minister of Popular Power for Tourism, Daniella Cabello, met this Wednesday with the Nicaraguan ambassador to Venezuela, Daysi Ivette Torres Bosques.

During this meeting, the authorities analyzed the possibility of organizing business rounds to publicize potential tourist destinations and explore investment opportunities, through the Department of Promotion and Marketing of the Nicaraguan Tourism Institute (INTUR), an entity that is responsible for carrying out trade missions and presentation events in key international markets, in collaboration with the Ministry of Popular Power for Tourism of Venezuela (MINTUR).

It was also proposed to promote training alliances between INTUR, the National Technological Institute of Nicaragua (INATEC) and MINTUR, through the National Tourism Institute (INATUR) and the National Tourism University (UNATUR).

Senior officials also considered drawing up an Action Plan to implement a Memorandum of Understanding, which includes specific activities related to the development of multi-destination products and the creation of a tourism brand between the two nations.

In this context, and following the recent participation of the Nicaraguan delegation in the XVIII Edition of the International Tourism Fair of Venezuela (FITVEN 2025), the Minister extended a cordial invitation to Nicaragua to attend this event, considered the most important tourist showcase in the country, where actors from the public and private, national and international tourism sectors meet.

With these initiatives, the National Government reinforces Motor Tourism, considered a key tool for the consolidation, diversification and growth of the Venezuelan economy.
