Venezuela and Republic of Congo ratified cultural cooperation agreements

Venezuela and the Republic of the Congo ratified the signed agreements and the elaboration of an action plan that covers aspects such as cultural promotion and exchange, as well as technical cooperation and the promotion of tourist destinations for the interest of both nations.

The meeting was led by the Venezuelan ambassador to the Republic of Congo, Laura Evangelia Suárez, and the Minister of Cultural, Tourism, Artistic and Recreation Industry of this African nation, Marie-France Lydie Hélène Pongault.

The authorities also highlighted the possibility of establishing cooperation with the Venezuelan Orchestra System, with the objective of allowing communities, schools and institutions to access the world of music.

In the same way, they reviewed the cultural activities that will be held this year in the Congo and in which the South American country may participate.

With regard to tourism, the diplomats decided to establish strategies for the elaboration of an action plan to continue strengthening relations, so they will work together to identify tourist destinations of mutual interest.
