The Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Yván Gil, held a meeting with the Spanish ambassador to Venezuela, Álvaro Albacete, with the purpose of developing a joint work agenda between the two countries.

The main objective of the meeting was to establish a road map to boost bilateral cooperation in various areas of common interest.

“During this meeting, we reaffirm our willingness to establish balanced bilateral relations, based on respect for international law, the Charter of the United Nations and the principles of sovereignty and self-determination of peoples,” Gil said in a post on his Telegram channel.

This new approach seeks to transcend the differences of recent years to prioritize mutual well-being, commercial exchange and political dialogue as fundamental tools for regional stability.
