Venezuela and the DPR of Korea discuss issues of common interest in Caracas

The representatives of both countries exchanged views on the development of the current international political situation

The Deputy Minister for Asia, the Middle East and Oceania of the Ministry of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Tatiana Pugh Moreno, held a pleasant meeting with the Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Han Song Guk, with the objective of discussing issues of common interest to both nations.

At the meeting, representatives of both countries exchanged views on the development of the current international political situation, ratifying the shared will to defend their independence and sovereignty; extolling the importance of the work carried out by the Group of Friends in Defense of the United Nations Charter, to which both countries belong.

The occasion allowed the delivery of a letter signed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the DPR of Korea, Choe Son Hui, addressed to the Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, on the occasion of the anniversary of the Independence of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

Finally, both authorities pledged to continue working to deepen bilateral political relations, which leverage the growth of ties of friendship, solidarity and cooperation.
