Venezuela and the UN ratify commitment to cooperation and strengthening multilateralism

The Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, received the Resident Coordinator of the United Nations (UN) in Venezuela, Gianluca Rampolla, to make an exhaustive assessment of the cooperation programs in force in the country.

The meeting served as a space to review the progress of joint projects and coordinate future actions that have a positive impact on the nation's social and economic development.

During the meeting, Foreign Minister Gil reaffirmed that Venezuelan foreign policy remains aligned with the fundamental principles of the international organization.

“At this meeting, we express our commitment to consolidating solidarity, respect and multilateralism as the fundamental pillars for achieving peace and fostering harmonious relations between countries,” said Minister Gil, in a post on his Telegram channel.

This meeting underlines Venezuela's willingness to keep its doors open to the international system, promoting peace diplomacy that prioritizes stability and strategic technical cooperation.
