Venezuela and Türkiye signed a new alliance to promote the production and commercialization of high-quality coffee in the international market.

The Minister of Productive Agriculture and Lands, Julio León Heredia, together with the Minister of Industry and National Production and president of the International Center for Productive Investment (CIIP), Alex Saab, and representatives of the Turkish coffee industry met to sign a series of bilateral agreements aimed at boosting the coffee sector.

These agreements aim at the exchange of knowledge and advanced technologies, in addition to establishing mechanisms to facilitate exports and promote domestic coffee in international markets, CIIP press reports.

This agreement seeks to improve food security and promote sustainable development, including planting 10,000 hectares for various crops, increasing agricultural productivity.

This joint effort seeks to position the country as an international leader in coffee production, opening new markets and strengthening the competitiveness of the sector.

These agreements are a milestone that marks the beginning of a strategic collaboration that will contribute to improving the quality and sustainability of coffee production.
