Venezuela beat Colombia in a friendly basketball game

The Venezuelan national basketball team won a victory against the Colombian quintet with a score of 67-81, in a friendly match prior to the 2025 American Cup.

The team led by coach Ronald Guillén presented a starting quintet made up of Edwin Mijares, Yeferson Guerra, Yohanner Sifontes, Anyelo Cisneros and Windi Graterol.

The first period 23-19 was won by the Colombian national team, the second quarter also 41-38 and the third 60-58, but the fourth and final period favored the Venezuelans, who with 14 points left 67-81 on the scoreboard.

Fernando Fuenmayor went with 12 pts, 5 rebounds and 1 steal completed, Yeferson Guerr with 11 pts, 2 rebounds and 2 steals and Anyelo Cisneros with 11 points, 5 rebounds and 1 steal to position himself as the best offensive players in Venezuela.

After a couple of friendly matches, the national team will face the 2025 Copa América tournament, which will be held in Managua starting on August 22.
