Venezuela begins Advanced Training Program in Bioethics

The sector vice-president of Science, Technology, Ecosocialism and Health, Gabriela Jiménez, participated in the beginning of the Advanced Training Program in Bioethics. This initiative, framed in the national plan of the area, is promoted by the Bolivarian Government to promote thinking aligned with ethical values in the country's scientific development.

In this regard, the Minister of Science and Technology, stressed that “this Training Program seeks to train citizens committed to defending the rights and dignity of all people.” In the same way, he asserted that “bioethics is an invitation to think, feel and act based on our identity and values”.

Finally, the holder of the Science and Technology portfolio assured that this program is part of national policies to advance the development of science and innovation in the welfare of the Venezuelan people.
