Venezuela celebrated the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations with Guinea-Bissau

The Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, this Tuesday, April 28, received an official visit from Joao Bernardo Vieira, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Communities of Guinea-Bissau, on the occasion of the 20th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Venezuela and the African nation.

In his account on the social network Telegram, Foreign Minister Gil said that “this commemoration celebrates a significant milestone in South-South friendship and cooperation between our peoples, which has resulted in a variety of agreements and projects in fundamental areas such as agriculture, mining, and diplomatic, cultural and educational exchange.”

In that regard, he stressed that “these initiatives are essential to strengthen the unity and prosperity of both nations.”

“On behalf of the Bolivarian Government, we have reaffirmed our willingness to continue expanding our projects and areas of mutual understanding,” he said,
