This Saturday, through a statement, the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela condemns and deeply regrets that, in a context in which diplomatic efforts and negotiations were under way, military action was taken through attacks against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In a statement issued this Saturday through the Telegram account of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, the national government warns of the “dangerous and unpredictable escalation of events”, urging a resumption of diplomatic channels and the re-establishment of negotiations.

“This situation, the result of ignorance of the principles of diplomacy, the peaceful resolution of disputes and the Charter of the United Nations, places the region and the world in the face of an extremely serious scenario of instability,” Gil stressed.
