Venezuela congratulated France on election day this July 7

The Revolutionary Government congratulated the French people on the successful election day of July 7, in which the French left won an extraordinary victory.

In a statement, the government of President Nicolás Maduro reaffirmed its will to build healthy and fruitful relations of mutual benefit with the French Republic.

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela congratulates the French people, after the successful election day of July 7, when the composition of its National Assembly has been decided, as well as the New Popular Front, which has won an extraordinary victory, which sends a strong message to the world, that the unity of the left and progressivism is the only valid alternative, in the face of the great threats to humanity, which today represent neoliberalism and global fascism.

Venezuela sends its best wishes to all elected deputies, and hopes that the new government, which will emerge from today in the French Republic, will be able to meet the needs of its people and will contribute to generating the necessary balances, at the international level, to advance in the restoration of the fundamental values inherent to peace, justice and global stability.

The Bolivarian Government takes this opportunity to reaffirm its will to build healthy and fruitful relations of mutual benefit with the French Republic, based on respect for international law, as well as the principles of equality, sovereignty and self-determination of our peoples.
