Venezuela congratulates the People and Government of Belize (+statement)

The Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela congratulated the People and Government of Belize this Thursday “for the civic and democratic participation of citizens on election day held yesterday, March 12, 2025".

In a statement, released by Foreign Minister Yván Gil, Venezuela greeted “the re-elected Prime Minister John Briceño and the United People's Party (PUP), who won a resounding victory, demonstrating the full confidence of the population in his leadership to guide the sister nation of Belize during the coming period 2025-2030.”

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela expresses its sincerest congratulations to the people and Government of Belize for the civic and democratic participation of citizens on election day held yesterday, March 12, 2025.

The Bolivarian Government extends its fraternal greetings to the re-elected Prime Minister John Briceño and the United People's Party (PUP), who won a resounding victory, demonstrating the full confidence of the population in his leadership to guide the sister nation of Belize during the coming period 2025-2030.

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela reiterates its commitment to continue strengthening the bonds of friendship that prevail between the two nations, united by the shared values of mutual respect, sovereignty and the right to self-determination. It also confirms its willingness to strengthen cooperation to continue building a prosperous future for new generations.
