Venezuela consolidates high-level agenda with the United Kingdom and Italy

With the objective of strengthening Venezuela's presence on the international stage, the Deputy Minister for Europe and North America, Oliver Blanco, concluded a successful working tour of the United Kingdom and Italy, focused on the reactivation of bilateral alliances and the growth of the energy industry.

The day in British territory began with a high-level meeting with Harriet Thompson, director for the Americas of the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO). Both officials reviewed the diplomatic road map, stressing the need to consolidate strong institutional ties between Caracas and London, the briefing note detailed.

To complete the deployment, Deputy Minister Blanco visited the headquarters of the Venezuelan Embassy in the United Kingdom. There, he was received by Ambassador Félix Plasencia and his diplomatic team, with whom he evaluated consular efforts and attention to compatriots, reaffirming the commitment of the Venezuelan State to maintain open and efficient communication channels abroad.
