In order to consolidate international cooperation, the Minister of People's Power for Tourism, Daniella Cabello, held a working meeting this Tuesday, March 03, with the ambassador of the Russian Federation in Venezuela, Sergey Mélik-Bagdasárov.

During the meeting, Minister Cabello indicated that, in compliance with the instructions of the President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, and with the vision of following the momentum of the development agenda in binational tourism, fundamental issues for the growth of the sector between the two nations were addressed.

Among the key points on the agenda, they discussed the strengthening of air connectivity, the importance of promoting Venezuela as a megadiverse destination within the Russian Federation market and the implementation of academic and cultural exchange projects that would make it possible to further professionalize the tourist service.

This approach seeks to enhance the flow of visitors and strengthen the historical ties between Caracas and Moscow.

Cabello emphasized the nation's position in the global market. “Venezuela, the country that the world wants to know,” he said.

With these actions, the Bolivarian Government reaffirms its commitment to position the natural and cultural wealth of the homeland as a strategic axis for the non-oil economy and international exchange.
