Venezuela-Cuba Business Opportunities Forum is held

At the headquarters of the Foreign Trade Bank (BANCOEX) in Caracas, the Venezuela-Cuba Business Opportunities Business Forum was held as a preparatory activity for the Havana International Fair.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Export Promotion Agency, BANCOEX and diplomats from both countries, reported Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).
The Minister Counselor of the Embassy of Cuba, Rubén Ramos, stated that joint work has been done between authorities of the Venezuelan Government, Venezuelan banks, as well as chambers and associations linked to trade and investment activity, “with the purpose of expanding and strengthening trade between the two countries.”
For her part, the president of the Export Promotion Agency, Daniella Cabello, said that a large database of businessmen is planned to strengthen the country's export culture.
In this regard, he affirmed that the Export Promotion Agency is carrying out policies to enhance the presence of Venezuelan products and services in the international market.
“We are currently working with the Ministry of the People's Power of Economy, Finance and Foreign Trade to create a unified export protocol to facilitate all processes,” said Cabello.
For his part, the president of BANCOEX, Guillermo Lara, stressed that the institution's new role “is that of agent and financial bridge that will be the necessary hinge for the new Export Promotion Agency to carry out all the objectives to bring Venezuelan products into international markets.”
