The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela rejected this Friday the rude and arrogant statements of the government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Venezuelan Diplomatic Mission in London, and repudiated its support for the extreme right in the South American nation.

In a statement, released by Foreign Minister Yván Gil in his account X, the Bolivarian Government described the British declarations as a “new and vulgar exercise of neocolonial interference and pretension”, by “questioning the internal processes of a sovereign country” and of “taking sides with a criminal and extremist political class, subservient to imperial interests”.

Below is the full text of the document:

The Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela expresses its absolute rejection of the messages that have been rudely and arrogantly transmitted by the government, in a state of decline, of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, to our Diplomatic Mission in London, in a new and vulgar exercise of neocolonial interference and pretense, daring to question the internal processes of a sovereign country and taking sides with a criminal and extremist political class, subservient to interests imperials.

The support of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland for the Venezuelan extreme right is a wake-up call to the pretensions of these groups, who have compromised the country, allying themselves with foreign powers, handing over assets, such as gold held in the Bank of England, and promoting illegal sanctions and illegal actions against their own people.

On the other hand, Venezuela states that, under no circumstances, will it allow the act of dispossession of Guiana Essequiba, an action attempted by that decadent empire for more than 150 years.

The will of the Venezuelan people, expressed unanimously in the Constitutional Referendum of December 3, 2023, is a mandate that ratifies the independence and sovereignty of the Homeland, no infamous action can be taken against this Bolivarian inspiration that ensures the protection of the legitimate interests that assist them.

Finally, the United Kingdom is required to desist from its insolent position and respect the rights conquered by the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, through its independence process, enshrined more than 200 years ago, when European imperialism was driven from these lands.
