Venezuela denounces U.S. military attack against civilians (+Caracas, La Guaira and Miranda)

In an official statement, the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela denounced to the international community “the very serious military aggression perpetrated by the current government of the United States of America against the Venezuelan territory and population.”
La communication specifies that the attack was carried out “in civilian and military locations in the city of Caracas, capital of the Republic and of the states of Miranda, Aragua and La Guaira”.
Asimismo, denounces that “this aggression threatens international peace and stability, specifically in Latin America and the Caribbean, and seriously jeopardizes the lives of millions of people the objective of this attack”.
Finalmente, reiterates the determination of the Venezuelan people to defend their sovereignty and adds that in “a popular military and police merger, they are deployed to guarantee sovereignty and peace. At the same time, Bolivarian peace diplomacy will submit the corresponding complaints to the United Nations Security Council”.
