The Venezuelan men's national volleyball team beat Peru in the 2025 Copa América in Betim, Brazil.

With this result, the Venezuelans set their record in one won and one lost, after falling in the opening 2x1, in a match that the Criollos could not level.

This championship takes place at the facilities of the Divino Braga Sports Center and aims to score points in the continental ranking to win a place in the Olympic Games in Los Angeles 2028.

The tournament will be attended by the national teams of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Peru and Venezuela.

The Creole representation is made up of players at the level of Kevin Delgado, José Carrasco, Iván Fernández, Emerson Rodríguez, Ronald Fayola, Willner Rivas, Jesús Gómez, José González, Héctor Mata, Esteban Pérez, Moisés Vásquez, Ronald Martínez, Jean Herrera and Kevin Sánchez.

The coaching staff is made up of Argentinian coach Rubén Wolochin and his Venezuelan assistant Luis Arias.
