Venezuela exports green coffee to Italy from Lara

A total of 19.2 tons of green coffee left this Wednesday, June 10, to Italy, from the Dry Port of Barquisimeto, through the Foreign Trade Company of the Government of Lara State (EMCOEX).

The review and burden process of operation number 398 was supervised by Governor Luis Reyes Reyes and the company's president, Juan Carlos Romero, among other local authorities responsible for the economic development of the central-western entity, details a press release from the entity's government.

Reyes Reyes reported that by Thursday, June 11, they plan to export another shipment of green coffee to Russia. He explained that 70 tons of the sector have already been exported to different destinations, including the United States, so far in the year 2026.

He added that negotiations are underway for the export of between 40,000 and 70,000 tons of clay that will leave Barquisimeto in the coming days.
