Venezuela extends congratulations to the People and Government of Antigua and Barbuda for successful elections

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela issued a statement this Friday, May 01, extending its sincerest congratulations to the People and Government of Antigua and Barbuda after the successful day of general elections held on April 30, 2026.

On his account on the social network Telegram, the Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, published the aforementioned statement.

The letter states: “This process not only ratifies their unwavering democratic commitment, but also stands as an exemplary testimony of citizenship and popular sovereignty.”
