Venezuela has more than 300 tourist routes (+FITVEN)

Venezuela has 301 tourist routes, representing a growth of 396% compared to the previous year, reflecting work between the public and private sectors, organized communities, tourist providers, mayors and governorates, accompanied by the national government, as reported by the general director of Tourist Destinations of the Ministry of Popular Power for Tourism (MINTUR), Deomar Guevara.

During the International Tourism Fair (FITVEN), which was held in the state of Táchira, Guevara stated that through MINTUR they have been “strengthening tourist routes nationwide and providing a totally different portfolio of products, to develop emerging destinations for all tourists who visit us”.

In addition, the general director of Tourist Destinations of the said office stressed that the plan is the consolidation of national tourism so that “they can visit the different attractive districts and thus learn about the history of Venezuela.”

In addition, he explained that there are 104 historical routes that allow us to know the national identity and the historical heritage of the homeland”, with the support of communities, the organization of the sector and the structured growth of tourism in Venezuela.
