Venezuela is the favorite for the 2026 World Baseball Classic

More than 20 teams will face each other until March 17 at the World Baseball Classic, an event hosted by the United States, Japan and Puerto Rico. In the fair Venezuela stands out as one of the teams to beat.

The tournament will feature the participation of star figures such as José Altuve, Paul Goldschmidt, Mike Trout, Shohei Ohtani and Freddie Freeman and brings together teams from all over the world, representing the American, European and Asian continents.

In America, there are: Mexico, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Canada, Panama, the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Nicaragua and the United States. Europe will be represented by Great Britain, Italy, Australia, the Czech Republic and the Netherlands. Asia has the participation of Japan, among others.

The Venezuelan national team will be presented by a luxury roster, with players such as Luis Arráez, Salvador Pérez, Anthony Santander, Pablo López and Robert Suárez, among others, the Venezuela News portal reported.
