Venezuela officially launches its Little Women's Softball Leagues

Zulia assumes the role of pioneer and pilot base of this movement, which stands out for its organization, but also for the technical quality of its coaching staff, made up of legends of the Venezuelan National Team with a view to the 2027 Latin Americans.

This was highlighted by the Digital Sports portal from the Cuatricentenario stadium in Maracaibo during the gala this Wednesday to witness a moment that will change the course of women's sports in the country. With an attendance that exceeded all expectations, the first official practice of the Little League Women's Softball took place, a project that settles a historic debt of more than three decades with Venezuelan athletes.

What began as a desire shared by legendary leaders is now a tangible reality. Some 19 girls from Maracaibo and Cabimas gathered at the diamond, marking the beginning of a training process that seeks to raise national softball to the highest international standards, with an eye on Latin American 2027.
