Under the slogan “Pragmatic Dialogue: The Road to a Stable Future”, the XXIX edition of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum began this Wednesday in Russia, the Venezuelan delegation sent by the president in charge Delcy Rodríguez is participating in order to strengthen economic, commercial and investment ties between Venezuela and Russia.
In this regard, the head of the Venezuelan delegation and Sectorial Vice President of Planning, Ricardo Menéndez, stressed that “this is the vision we are having in Venezuela, which is precisely the soul, the spirit of the pilgrimage organized by the president in charge that has to do with the search for a relationship scheme without sanctions, without blockade.”
“A world where economic and productive complementarity exists. It's the world that Venezuela deserves, spaces for inclusion in the international economy,” Menéndez pointed out from the Forum.
He also said that this is a “space of relationship with respect, with sovereignty, with productive chain”, on this he explained that “for this productive economic development to exist, the development of education, science and technology, the full purchasing power, growth, expansion of domestic consumption in our country, which is the possibility of satisfying the social needs of the population”.
He stressed that the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela advocates for a world without sanctions, without blockades,” and where the vision of trying to kidnap the presidents of the Republic, as in the case of our president Nicolás Maduro, never exists. It is the vision of peace of Venezuela's international geopolitics, the geopolitics of peace.”
For his part, the Minister of Popular Power for Industries and Commerce of Venezuela, Luis Villegas, participated in a forum, called “Business in Turbulent Times”, “where we were with experts in new alternatives and tools to overcome economic sanctions”.
