Venezuela participates with more than 300 titles at the Tunis Book Fair

Venezuela is participating for the first time with more than 300 titles in its editorial offer at the Tunis International Book Fair (FILT 2025), which takes place in the eponymous capital of the African country from April 25 to May 4.

Among the books that will be available at the editorial meeting, stand out the most recent production of publishers in the Venezuelan State, such as the Fundación Editorial El Perro y la Rana, Monte Ávila Editores and Biblioteca Ayacucho.

Other titles that make up the Venezuelan offer to the Tunisian reading public include editions of Hermanos Vadell Editores, The Foundation for Culture and the Arts (Fundarte) of the Mayor's Office of Caracas, Simon Bolivar Study Center and Editorial Garzamora.

In addition, the representation of Venezuelan authors who attend the Tunisian event is made up of Luis Britto García, a prominent author of the National Prize for Literature; Carmen Bohórquez, philosopher and historian, and currently considered the author with the most authority on the figure of Francisco de Miranda; and Antonio Trujillo, poet and chronicler, director of the National Journal of Culture and National Prize for Culture, mention Literature 2023-2024.

In addition to the Venezuelan titles that will be available in Tunisia, including Verbal Regions, by Antonio Trujillo; The Sea You Give Me, a novel by Jorge Rodríguez, who serves as president of the National Assembly; and Pirata, by Luis Britto García. Venezuela will coordinate other activities to promote reading, such as the colloquium Current Panorama of the Novel in Venezuela, by Britto García and Raúl Cazal, president of the Venezuelan National Book Center.
