The Venezuelan ambassador to the Republic of the Congo, Laura Evangelia Suárez, held a meeting with the minister of Sports, Youth and Civic Education of that country, Hugues Ngouélondélé, to analyze the prospects for bilateral cooperation, including the implementation of the National System of Youth and Children's Orchestras and Choirs in the African nation.
During the meeting, the Venezuelan diplomat presented the program, its origin, structure, mission, methodology and implementation on a national and international scale, as a method for inculcating discipline and collective work through music. The proposal envisages the support of the Congolese Government for its implementation, according to a press release from the diplomatic headquarters.
Minister Ngouélondélé welcomed the initiative and pledged to work together to make it possible, with an initial plan that would begin at the Aubeville Center for Social Integration and Reintegration, aimed at providing comprehensive care for young people.
With this meeting, Venezuela and the Congo are making progress in implementing their common agenda under the principles of South-South Cooperation.
