The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela expresses its deepest rejection of the terrorist attack that occurred in Tehran on July 31, 2024, which assassinated the Palestinian leader Ismail Haniya and his bodyguard, flagrantly violating the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
This terrorist attack adds to the constant aggression being experienced by the Palestinian people and eliminates the possibilities of achieving an early solution to the systematic genocide spread by the terrorist State of Israel.
The Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela demands, in accordance with its historical position, the cessation of all acts of intimidation and extermination against the courageous Palestinian people.
Venezuela reiterates, once again, its rejection of terrorism in all its expressions, and hopes for the extinction of this type of practice that subjects entire peoples to fear and violence.
At this sensitive moment, we express our attachment to the principles of Bolivarian Diplomacy of Peace, in strict respect for international law for the peaceful coexistence of nations, free from hatred and intolerance.
