Venezuela takes second place in the Women's Pan American Volleyball Cup

Venezuela's under-17 women's volleyball team won the runner-up in the Pan American Cup after falling 3-1 to the United States in the final for the gold medal at the Jorge Galeano Gymnasium in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.


The Ministry of Popular Power for Sports, through a press release, indicated that with this result, the Venezuelan team won the silver medal and closed their participation with a score of 4-1, thus achieving their second podium in the history of the competition, after having won bronze in the 2024 edition.


At the close of the tournament, the Venezuelan Amanda Pacheco received the award for the best opposite of the Pan-American competition, while the Bolivarian Yaleska Colin was recognized as the top scorer in the joust.
