The Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, on behalf of the Bolivarian Government of Venezuela, thanked organizations and movements around the world that raised their voices to reject the military attack perpetrated by the United States (USA) on January 3.

Through his Telegram channel, Foreign Minister Gil stressed that this aggression not only violates the sovereignty of Venezuela, “but is manifested in unacceptable acts (...) such as the kidnapping of President Nicolás Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores.”

In this regard, the Bolivarian Government deeply appreciated the call of these organizations committed to the anti-colonial struggle for the liberation of the presidential couple, “who have dedicated their lives to the defense of the peoples of the world and to the construction of a sovereign and free Venezuela.”
