Venezuela thanks the solidarity of the Group of Friends in Defense of the United Nations Charter

The government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela thanked the governments for showing their solidarity in the so-called Group of Friends in Defense of the Charter of the United Nations, who signed a document that expresses their strong condemnation of the attacks by the Government of the United States against President Nicolás Maduro.

“On behalf of President Nicolás Maduro, we express our gratitude to the Group of Friends in Defense of the Charter of the United Nations for its statement of solidarity with Venezuela and its firm rejection of military threats from the United States, which are based on fabricated and baseless narratives of criminalization,” Foreign Minister Iván Gil wrote on his social networks.
