Venezuela will participate in the IBA 2025 Women's World Boxing Championship

The women's national boxing team left last Monday, March 3, to the city of Niš, Serbia, to participate in the IBA 2025 Women's Boxing World Championship, which will take place from March 6 to 17.
The Venezuelan representation will participate in this event with eight female boxers who seek to leave the Venezuelan flag at the top of the podium. The selection is made up of:
- Tayonis Cedeño — 48
- Alondra Brito — 50
- Johana Gomez — 54
- Diana Maestre — 57
- Krisandry Rios — 60
- Omailyn Alcala — 63
- Genesis Palma — 70
- Keidy Guevara — 75
In addition, the technical team responsible for guiding and commanding the female warriors in this event is made up of: Jorge Zerpa, Yoel Medina, José Pinilla, Juan Cassiani, Jesús Hernández.
It is important to note that the Venezuelan women will participate in this match with more than 500 boxers from five continents who will fight for titles in 12 weight categories.
