Venezuela will play against the USA, Argentina and Puerto Rico in the 2025 FIBA AmeriCup U-16 Women's Cup

This Thursday, FIBA held the draw for the group stage of the FIBA AmeriCup Women's Under-16 2025, which will be played in Irapuato, Mexico, from 16 to 22 June. Venezuela was drawn in Group A, along with Puerto Rico, the United States and Argentina.

The winners of the quarter-final matches will advance to the semifinals and will also qualify for the FIBA U-17 Women's World Cup 2026. The losers will play the reclassification from 5th to 8th place.

Venezuela will debut on Monday, June 16 against the United States. Later, he will face Argentina (17/06) and will close the group stage against Puerto Rico (18/06).
