Venezuela will shine as guest of honor at the ShowColat Festival 2026 in France

Venezuelan cacao will have an international showcase in Europe after confirming Venezuela's participation as Guest of Honor in the ShowColat Festival 2026, which will take place from May 1 to 3 at the Palace of the Bordeaux Stock Exchange, France.

The national delegation will be made up of more than 20 master chocolatiers and producers, who will present a sample that integrates the genetic heritage of Creole cacao with the Bean-to-Bar production model, recognized for its approach to traceability and quality.

According to the Ministry of Popular Power for Foreign Trade, this participation is part of the Cocoa Diplomacy strategy and the promotion of non-oil exports, aimed at strengthening the value chain and coordination with international actors in the sector.

The event will expand opportunities for the inclusion of Venezuelan cacao in high-demand gastronomic markets, as well as to advance the positioning of the national product in specialized marketing spaces.

In addition, the initiative seeks to promote the recognition of the work of producers and consolidate Venezuela as a reference in genetic excellence within the luxury chocolate industry on a global scale.
