The Venezuelan golf team finished its participation in the tournament in Bogota, Colombia, with two gold medals and eight players ranked in the top ten in the general classification.

The event brought together the promises of the discipline in the region during three days of competition, the Ministry of Sports reported.

Juan Martínez won the pre-juvenile category with cards of 60, 63 and 66, for a total of 18 under par on the field. Martínez beat Colombian Felipe Correa, who took second place.

For his part, Ignacio Beaujón secured the second gold metal for the delegation in the children's category.

In the women's category, Leticia Colina and Annabella Beaujón stood out in fourth and seventh places, respectively. The technical balance of the national team also included four competitors in the group of the top twenty, consolidating the performance of the national team in the South American youth circuit.
