The ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Enrique Antonio Acuña Mendoza, presented the Credential Letters to the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto.

With this protocol ceremony, the Venezuelan diplomat became the seventh extraordinary and plenipotentiary representative of Venezuela accredited to the Indonesian State, in the 66 years of bilateral relations between these two nations.

The handing over of Ambassador Acuña's credentials constitutes an important step in the process of strengthening bilateral cooperation and ties of friendship.

Both nations share similarities, especially when it comes to foreign policy issues, which focus their diplomacy on the concept of peace, regional and global stability, respect for the sovereignty and self-determination of the peoples of the world, as well as focusing their objectives on the development of a national and international geopolitics that promotes their economic growth without detriment to other nations or communities.
