Venezuelan and Zimbabwean foreign ministers strengthen binational cooperation in Caracas

The Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Yván Gil, met this Tuesday with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Zimbabwe, Frederick Musiiwa Makamure Shava, who is on an official visit to Caracas to participate in the First Binational Joint Commission.

“We held conversations about the importance of strengthening friendship and cooperation between our countries, as well as of deepening cultural exchange,” said the Venezuelan Foreign Minister in his X account.

The First Joint Commission for Venezuela-Zimbabwe Cooperation was installed in the Antonio José de Sucre Yellow House, with six working tables to detail and refine the instruments of cooperation.

As part of his visit to the country, from 25 to 28 June, the senior African diplomat plans to hold meetings with government authorities to strengthen ties of friendship and collaboration.
