Venezuelan David Martínez scores his first goal in a win for Los Angeles FC

Venezuelan right winger David Martínez scored his first goal in his Los Angeles FC team's 6-1 win over the Honduran side of Real España in the CONCACAF Champions Cup.

For Martínez it was his first goal in the top competition in the northern part of the continent. Last year he scored three goals in another international tournament, the Leagues Cup.

The Venezuelan midfielder started, played 62 minutes and scored his goal in the 11th minute, to contribute to the victory of the American team against the Honduran team. The return match will be played on February 24 with Los Angeles at home. The winner of the bracket will face the Costa Rican Alajuelense in the round of 16, according to the specialized press.
