Venezuelan delegation faces the Pan American Artistic Gymnastics Championship in Rio de Janeiro

The national team will compete from June 18 to 21 at the Carioca Arena, in an event that will grant places for the 20th Lima 2027 Pan American Games in the senior category, so Venezuela begins its participation with a defined agenda and clear objectives.
The youth group is made up of Mia Garcés, Sofía Rojas, Paula Ayala and Caleb Ysava, who will use the continental event as part of the competitive process leading up to the II Bolivarian Youth Games Caracas 2026, in a phase that combines blanks and technical evaluation, according to a press release from the Ministry of Sports.
The senior division will include Oriana Fernández, Valeria Villamizar, Adickxon Trejo, Yeferson Antón and Sebastián Torres, who will take on the continental challenge with a view to advancing the qualifying route to Lima 2027 and maintaining their performance against American delegations.
The technical direction will be in charge of Rodrigo de Miranda, Karla Montes, Celis Briceño and Mercedes Villanueva, who will accompany the team during the competition days and will coordinate strategic adjustments according to the development of the event.
The schedule establishes qualifying rounds on June 18 and 19, while the junior finals will be played on the 20th and the 21st will correspond to the senior finals, in a closing that will define positions and possible advances towards the Pan-American cycle.
Venezuela combines youth and experience in this international commitment, in which it will seek to consolidate the work carried out during the preparation and sustain its presence in artistic gymnastics in the continent.
