A Venezuelan delegation, sent by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, participated in the farewell to Pope Francis in Vatican City.
The delegation was composed of the Chancellor of the Republic, Yván Gil; the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez and Father Numa Molina.
Foreign Minister Gil, in a post on social networks, stated that “we have transmitted a message of solidarity to the entire Catholic people and to the Christian world”.
