From February 25 to 27, the city of Bogotá becomes the capital of the travel sector with the celebration of the 45th edition of the Anato Tourism Showcase, where more than 56,000 professionals and 1,400 exhibitors from 30 countries meet at this event to position tourism in Latin America.

The delegation attached to the Ministry of Popular Power for Tourism will participate in this showcase, with the objective of consolidating alliances, boosting the supply of services and inbound tourism, as an engine for raising foreign exchange.

Destinations such as Margarita Island, Canaima and Los Roques occupy the first options in the promotion catalog.

Likewise, the New Granada market will be enthralled by the tasting of products with a Protected Geographical Indication, such as coffee, cacao, rum and chili pepper. At this event, the Venezuelan tourism union is also present, with the intention of making progress in expanding the range of opportunities to show a multi-destination Venezuela.

The Mexican Caribbean was chosen as the guest destination of honor, as it is one of the most emblematic attractions. Colombia and the Aztec nation maintain a strategic relationship that drives the growth of Colombian travelers to sun and beach destinations.

For its part, Venezuela's presence in Anato reaffirms its commitment to sustainable economic development and, at the same time, the consolidation of agreements and exchange of experiences, which benefit the country's tourist communities. This is how the national government expands this offer for travelers and investors in the global market.
