The cyclist from Tachirense Lilibeth Chacón engraved her name with gold letters in continental sports when she became four-time champion of the 2026 Women's Cycling Tour of Colombia, becoming the top winner in the history of this tour after completing the five stages with a total time of 18 hours, 30 minutes and 04 seconds.
The Venezuelan, who had already won the title in the 2021, 2023 and 2024 editions, confirmed her absolute dominance against local runners Angie Mariana Londoño and Laura Daniela Rojas, thanks to an impeccable performance in which she categorically won the queen stage (fourth day) and the fifth fraction of the competition held from June 2 to 7.
With this historic feat, the national athlete not only secured the general classification, but she was also crowned champion of the Mountain and Points modalities, leaving the tricolor pavilion at the top.
