The president of the CVG highlighted the joint work with the Ministry of Foreign Trade and other entities in the sector, together with the CSN workforce, to consolidate the productivity of the national industry. During his speech, he said: “We are very proud to belong to this working class that has been striving, complying with the instructions of President Nicolás Maduro. Our workers are engaged in production for the benefit of the Venezuelan economy.”
For her part, Minister Coromoto Godoy recognized the important achievement of the CSN working class in having the capacity to export steel material, which implies high added value for the diversification of the Venezuelan economy. In addition, he indicated that, “we are going further! because the quality of this steel made by the Venezuelan working class must reach the world's markets.”
In turn, Colonel Parada pointed out that after an arduous international audit, the National Steel Complex was certified by Icontec, making it possible to carry out this historic export after 16 years. All this in compliance with the strategic guidelines of the Bolivarian Government to produce, supply and export quality cabillas.
Guaranteed quality, industrial sovereignty
The exported product, W60 steel in different inches, strictly complies with the Colombian Technical Standard NTC2289, certified by the Colombian Institute of Technical Standards and Certification (Icontec). This international endorsement endorses the excellence of “Made in Venezuela”, forged by workers committed to the industrial development of the Homeland.
Strategic step towards international markets
This operation not only consolidates Venezuela's reintegration into regional commercial chains, but it also lays the groundwork for future exports. To date, more than 1,355 tons have been exported, setting a monthly projection of 2,000 tons.
This achievement is part of the strategic guidelines of the CVG and the commitment of the National Government to economic transformation and industrial sovereignty.
