The Venezuelan swimming delegation added 10 new medals, four gold, three silver and three bronze medals, at the 2025 Ayacucho-Lima Bolivarian Games.

The Venezuelan Mercedes Toledo won the first gold medal of the day in the 200-meter chest with a time of 02:35.12.

Then, María Victoria Yegres was crowned in the 200-meter freestyle event with a record time of 02:00.84, while Paola Azzato took the bronze one in her debut.

For her part, Lismar Lyon won the 50-meter butterfly with a 26-second mark of 38 hundredths, and was accompanied on the podium by the Colombian Sirena Rowe and the Ecuadorian Emma Sabando with silver and bronze respectively.

Then the flag bearer of the Venezuelan delegation, Jorge Otaiza, won the gold one with a time of 23:62 in the 50-meter butterfly test.

Carla González won the silver with a time of 01:02.87 like Mónica Leydar but in the 400 meters combined with a time of 04:57.75.

The third silver medal went to the women's 4×100 combined relay team, composed of Carla González, Lismar Lyon, María Victoria Yegres and Mercedes Toledo.

The men's 4×100 combined team, comprised of Denis Pérez, Eric Veit, Jorge Otaiza and Manuel Díaz, climbed to third place on the podium.

César Paredes did the same by adding bronze in 400 combined singles with a record of 04:29.57, surpassed only by the Guatemalan Erick Gordillo and the Ecuadorian Esteban Enderica.
