The Venezuelan Theater Festival 2025 will raise the curtain this Thursday, August 28, with the presentation of the play “Neither enemies nor foreigners”, under the direction of Jericó Montilla.

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, the opening performance will take place at 6:00 p.m. in the Anna Julia Rojas room of the Experimental University of the Arts (UNEARTE), located on Avenida México in Caracas.

The first phase of the festival, which will run until August 31, will feature the participation of more than 1,850 artists on stage, offering a diverse program throughout the country. This deployment will allow creators from different regions to share their talent and connect with local audiences.

The festival presents a variety of works that reflect the cultural richness of Venezuela. For example, in Monagas, “Not One More Drop Be Spilled” will be presented on August 29, while in Apure, “The Legend of Dona Natalia” will be shown on August 30, which will bring a unique experience to the communities and will add a deep emotional connection to the event.

In addition, the second phase of the festival is scheduled from November 13 to 23 in the city of Caracas, where the most outstanding theatrical proposals from all over the country will be presented.

This event consolidates itself as a vital platform for national talent, providing artists from different states with the opportunity to strengthen the presence of theater in communities.
