Venezuelan youth shine at the “Cantares del Tuy para el Llano” Festival in Yare

The Simón Bolívar de Yare Recreational Complex, in Miranda, was the stage for promising folklore young people from all over the country to show their skill in the 29th edition of the Cantares del Tuy festival for the plain.

The competition day was marked by the high level of participants from different states of the country. In the Women's Youth category, the young Luisana Navas, representative of the state of Guárico, won the highest award. The second place went to María Blanco, who made the state of Miranda proud, and the third position went to Celeste González, also from the state of Guárico.

For its part, in the Men's Youth category, the state of Carabobo won gold with the impeccable presentation of Santiago Rodríguez. The second place went to Nohé González, representative of the state of Cojedes, and the third place went to Abraham Rojas, from the state of Guárico.

The Cantares del Tuy festival for El Llano reaffirms its importance as a fundamental platform for promoting and preserving the musical talent and cultural traditions of Venezuela. The strategic alliance between the Mayor's Office of the Simón Bolívar Municipality and the Government of Miranda guarantees the continuity of these events that celebrate the vitality of llanero singing in the new generations.
